Madera Partners Consulting was founded in 2003 by Michael Madera, with the goal of partnering with clients to support their growth and prosperity. Originally focused on assessment and development of managers and executives, the mission of the firm has grown to be more responsive to our clients’ needs for processes to develop innovative strategies and continuously align people with these strategies.

Clients include venture funded companies, and NYSE/NASDAQ-listed corporations in financial services, marketing, high-tech manufacturing, software, internet services as well as individual executives seeking leadership coaching. Michael has conducted pre-hire and developmental assessments for over 400 candidates and managers, and has coached over 60 professionals, managers and executives

Michael has business experience in line and consulting roles. As an entrepreneur, he managed two food products companies before seeking his psychology degree. He served as VP Sales & Marketing for a startup software company in the late 1990’s, and then as Senior Consultant for Knickerbocker & Stevens, Inc, a Boston-based management psychology consulting firm.

Michael is Past President of the New England Society for Applied Psychology (www.nesap.org). He is a Contributing Member of the Executive Coaching Forum and a member of the Society for Consulting Psychology, the Society for Organizational/Industrial Psychology, the American Psychological Association and the Human Resources Leadership Forum.

Michael received his doctorate from the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology (MSPP), where his research focused on creativity and personal development in corporate managers. His Masters degree is from Middlebury College, and his BA cum laude from Vassar College. He is an avid tennis player and guitarist/songwriter.

Bruce Katcher Photo Bruce KatcherBruce is an Industrial/Organizational psychologist with more than 25 years experience conducting employee surveys. He is the author of 30 Reasons Employees Hate Their Managers which was selected as one of the best business books of 2007 by the business magazine strategy + business and by Library Journal. His views on employees and his survey research have been frequently quoted in The Wall Street Journal, The Boston Globe, The Christian Science Monitor, Industry Week, Science Magazine, and The Washington Post.

Bruce has conducted surveys for more than 100 organizations including Alcoa, American Student Assistance, Delta Dental Plan, Fidelity Investments, GEICO, the Massachusetts Medical Society, the Lahey Clinic, the Mayo Clinic Johnson & Johnson, Revlon, Science Magazine, Sodexho USA, Timberland, and W.R. Grace.

Prior to founding Discovery Surveys in 1993, Bruce served as the head of the Organizational Research and Development practice of the Wyatt Company’s Boston office. Prior to working at Wyatt, he held positions at Upsala College, Rutgers University, and GEICO viagraindian.com. Bruce received his doctorate in Industrial/Organizational psychology from the University of Maryland in 1983.

He is a frequent keynote speaker on employee surveying and former president of The Society of Professional Consultants, and also served on the board of the New England Society of Applied Psychology.

Deepika Nath Photo Deepika NathDeepika Nath focuses on bridging strategy and organizational and leadership development to bring about growth and lasting transformation.  She is a trusted advisor and coach to senior executives who are seeking to define an authentic and effective leadership style. Her experience spans 15 years of strategy and organizational consulting, with leading consulting firms such as the Boston Consulting Group and Ernst & Young’s healthcare practice (now part of Accenture). Prior to her consulting career, she was an Associate Professor at the Schulich School of Business, York University in Toronto.

She is a member of the OD Network, the Society for Organizational Learning and the Future Search Network.  As a mentor, Deepika participates in programs at YearUp, a non-profit that provides urban young adults with technical and professional skills, and in Menttium’s Virtual 100 mentoring program. She is on the Board of Young Entrepreneurs Alliance and part of the incubator team for Coaching the Global Village, which has created a model for applying the coach approach to NGOs and international development.

Deepika earned her BA (Honors) from St. Stephen’s College (Delhi University) and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (Bangalore). She has a PhD in Management from the University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign), and an MA in Organizational Development from Fielding Graduate University (Santa Barbara, California).

Bruce Katcher Photo Greg CollinsGreg is a management consultant and leadership coach who helps develop, articulate and successfully communicate growth strategies, and build teams capable of implementing those strategies to achieve sustainable revenue and profit growth. Greg designs and leads interventions using a combination of Strategy, Organization Development (OD), Adult Learning, and Coaching perspectives and tools. His work focuses on aligning the members of the executive team as a critical step in clarifying and then implementing any strategy.  In doing so, Greg focuses on provoking both individual and organizational change as the means of delivering results. He works with both publicly and privately owned organizations, from small start-ups to Fortune 50 companies.

His experience over the last couple of decades is evenly split between consulting and having P&L responsibility in a variety of businesses.  Greg was previously a founder and Partner in Axia Ltd. And before that he was a member of the management team of two other Boston-area consulting firms. Greg has extensive experience in Acquisition Integration and has developed a robust model and set of tools to assist his clients effectively integrate acquisitions.

Greg holds a Master’s degree in Public and Private Management from the Yale School of Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Cornell.  He has also done coursework in Adult Learning and Professional Development as well as Change Leadership and Adult Learning with the faculty from Harvard’s Graduate School of Education.
